Compounding Assistant

About the role

Baxter is hiring a Compounding Assistant (Process Worker) for its Brunswick Compounding Team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role supports the efficient and accurate production of compounded products. Shifts are 8:00 am to 16:06 pm and 15:00 pm to 23:06 pm, within site hours of 06:54 am to 23:00 pm. Candidates starting a career in pharmaceuticals are encouraged to apply, as full training is provided and no prior experience is required.

Key responsibilities

• Pick and prepare raw materials
• Label, inspect and seal compounded products
• Pack finished units for each order, including a final inspection
• Label and dispatch prepared products
• Maintain and keep the work area clean
• Complete documentation in line with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
• Follow Baxter's Standard Operating Procedures and other duties as required

Required profile

• Experience in healthcare, manufacturing or warehousing is advantageous
• Good understanding of basic mathematics
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Ability to use computer systems
• Team player who adapts to shift work and learns new skills
• Attention to detail and ability to follow defined procedures and protocols
• Unrestricted work rights and ability to work for any employer in ANZ

Training and orientation take about one week, with shift times between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm. Pre-employment medical, background and reference checks, and a mask fit test are required.
