About the role
HammondCare, an independent Christian charity that supports people to live in their homes and maintain their independence, is looking for a caring Italian-speaking volunteer to visit an elderly client in Warrawong. The client enjoys shopping, watching TV and gardening and would like someone to come to her home for a cup of tea and a chat. Visits are one hour long, between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Sunday, and can be weekly or fortnightly depending on availability.
Required profile
- 18 years or older
- Italian speaking
- Able to spend one hour visiting an older person at home
