Community Podiatrist - Melbourne

About the role

Alpha is recruiting a podiatrist for a community-based role in Melbourne, with future growth opportunities to diversify into residential aged care. The podiatrist provides care to clients in their homes to improve their independence and quality of life, builds their own caseload and sets their own working hours.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical assessments and care to community clients
• Maintain thorough client-related documentation
• Work collaboratively with other allied health professionals and referring partners
• Manage client and family feedback and take corrective action so services stay responsive to client needs

Required profile

• Tertiary podiatry qualification and current AHPRA registration
• Full working rights in Australia
• Current professional indemnity and public liability insurance
• National police check with no disclosable outcomes (or willingness to obtain one)
• Unrestricted Australian driver's licence and a reliable, insured vehicle
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
