Community Physiotherapist - Melbourne

About the role

Alpha Allied Health is recruiting a Physiotherapist for its Melbourne team on a community contract. The role is community based, with flexible hours and caseload, competitive remuneration and future growth opportunities to gain experience in residential aged care and private settings. You will provide physiotherapy services to clients in their homes to improve their independence and quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical assessments, reports and physiotherapy interventions to community clients with a high level of professionalism and care.
• Maintain thorough client-related documentation.
• Work collaboratively with other allied health professionals and referring partners to achieve the best results for clients.
• Manage client and family feedback and take corrective action so services stay positive and responsive to client needs.

Required profile

• Tertiary physiotherapy qualifications from a recognised institution and current AHPRA registration.
• Full working rights in Australia.
• Demonstrated skills and experience, able to work independently with minimal external supervision.
• Current Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance.
• National police check with no disclosable outcomes (or willingness to obtain one).
• Unrestricted Australian driver's licence and a reliable, insured vehicle.
