Community Manager

About the role

Clarence is a lawyer‑focused coworking space in Australia. As the Community Manager you will be the friendly face of the location, leading day‑to‑day operations and a small Member Services team to ensure members feel supported and valued.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for members and guests, building lasting relationships and delivering high‑level customer service.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of two, handling rostering, performance reviews and training.
• Maintain the presentation and functionality of the space, coordinating maintenance, contractors and supplier relationships.
• Drive auxiliary revenue streams such as meeting rooms and admin services, ensuring accurate billing and budget compliance.
• Support sales efforts with prospect tours and flag member growth signals for the Head of Sales.
• Plan and execute community events and CPD programs to foster engagement and networking.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in a client‑facing or administrative role.
• Exceptional interpersonal and people‑management abilities.
• Strong organisational and time‑management skills with attention to detail.
• Calm and reliable under pressure, able to multitask and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Clear, confident written communication.
• Ability to build relationships with members, colleagues and external suppliers.
