Community Enterprise & Stakeholder Engagement Manager

About the role

Community Enterprise Queensland is seeking two dedicated First Nations professionals to lead stakeholder engagement, business growth and community partnerships across remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. Based in the Cairns Support Office, you will work closely with governments, service providers and local leaders to create sustainable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with community groups, government agencies and service providers.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for enterprise development, network expansion and business growth.
• Collaborate with cross‑cultural teams across Cairns, Cape York, the Gulf of Carpentaria and the Torres Strait Islands.
• Support the delivery of essential services such as fresh food retail, fuel, gas and ATM facilities.
• Align initiatives with CEQ’s vision, values and reputation as an employer of choice.

Required profile

• Minimum three years’ experience in a similar role within a large, complex organisation.
• Experience designing and implementing business development strategies (desirable).
• Current open ‘C’ class Queensland driver’s licence.
• Intermediate to advanced competency with Microsoft Office Suite.
