About the role
The Community Engagement Advisor will act as the bridge between Bendigo Bank’s Mundaring branch and the local community. You will help grow the branch’s presence by building relationships, promoting community initiatives, and supporting the branch’s business plan.
Key responsibilities
- Immerse yourself in the local community to identify partnership opportunities.
- Collaborate with the board and branch management to organise community events and relationships.
- Create and share stories about the bank’s community impact across various channels.
- Manage social media accounts and local marketing activations, producing content and driving engagement.
- Attend community events, occasionally outside normal business hours.
Required profile
- Established connections and understanding of the local community.
- Strong customer‑service mindset and ability to build effective networks.
- Excellent communication skills for storytelling and relationship building.
- Good time‑management and organisational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Required skills
- Experience in managing social media pages and creating marketing content.
- Confidence with digital platforms and basic creative/editing tools.
