Communications Specialist

About the role

BioMar Australia is seeking a Communications Specialist to shape how customers, partners, government, communities and employees experience the brand. Working closely with the Head of Product & Marketing, you will create compelling content that strengthens reputation and supports one of the world’s leading aquaculture companies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver communication strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Create engaging content for digital platforms, social media, website, newsletters and marketing channels.
• Support executive communications, including presentations, speeches and briefing papers.
• Coordinate media relations, public relations activities and reputation‑management initiatives.
• Build relationships with community organisations, industry bodies, Traditional Owners and key stakeholders.
• Manage sponsorships, customer events, conferences, site visits and community‑engagement activities.
• Partner with the Global Marketing team to localise campaigns and ensure brand consistency.
• Measure communication effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with HR and business leaders on employee communications and organisational initiatives.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in corporate communications, public relations, marketing communications, journalism or a similar role.
• Exceptional written communication and editing abilities.
• Proven experience creating content across digital, social media and traditional channels.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship‑management skills.
