Communications Manager

About the role

Pernod Ricard, a global leader in the spirits industry, is seeking a Communications Manager for Australia and New Zealand. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will shape internal and external communication strategies, protect the brand reputation, and drive employee engagement across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute internal and external communication strategies aligned with business priorities.
• Manage internal channels such as Microsoft Teams, intranet, and office screens to ensure consistent messaging.
• Lead employee engagement initiatives, including newsletters, events, and FAQs for business changes.
• Advise senior leadership on communication matters and provide strategic recommendations.
• Oversee media relations, draft press releases, handle media inquiries, and monitor sentiment.

Required profile

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex strategies into clear narratives.
• Proven experience in leadership communications, crisis management, and end‑to‑end campaign and event management.
• Background in communications, public relations, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to operate independently as the sole communications lead, managing competing priorities and delivering at pace.
