Communications Coordinator

About the role

As a Communications Coordinator at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, you will support a wide range of communications activities, from media relations and event management to social media, videography, internal and strategic communications. This role offers a fast‑track learning environment where you can develop a versatile skill set while helping to showcase the hospital’s people, services, and impact.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design and deliver compelling social media content that engages audiences.
• Engage internal stakeholders through meaningful internal communications channels.
• Help craft and pitch stories to media outlets that educate, inform and inspire.
• Develop a broad suite of generalist communication skills within a high‑performing team.
• Facilitate events that connect and engage staff, patients and the wider community.
