Communications Advisor

About the role

Reporting to the Senior Communications Manager – Editorial, the Communications Advisor will help protect and enhance Australia Post’s reputation by implementing the communications strategy across internal channels. You will create engaging digital content, identify story opportunities, and support enterprise projects to drive reach and impact.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver communications strategies, initiatives and campaigns for internal audiences.
• Produce high‑quality written and audio‑visual content, leveraging new and existing channels.
• Identify and develop story opportunities aligned with strategic objectives and content pillars.
• Maintain a content calendar and manage end‑to‑end content production, planning, and distribution.
• Support enterprise projects with communication plans and evaluate outcomes for data‑driven improvements.

Required profile

• Creative flair with the ability to tell compelling stories across multiple platforms.
• Strong relationship‑building skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• 4+ years of experience in communications, marketing or content roles within a large, complex organisation (preferred).
• Proactive, self‑directed and able to manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Video production (concept to publication, including iPhone filming).
