About the role
We are seeking a motivated Commis Chef to join our fine‑dining team in Melbourne. This full‑time position requires flexibility, including weekend and a mix of day and night shifts, to support the restaurant’s operational demands.
Key responsibilities
- Assist senior chefs with food preparation and plating.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and kitchen organization.
- Support service during both day and night shifts.
- Ensure dishes are presented to the restaurant’s exacting standards.
Required profile
- Experience in fine‑dining environments (hatted, Michelin‑starred or equivalent).
- Strong work ethic and ability to perform under pressure.
- Excellent food knowledge and presentation skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
