Commercial Procurement Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Procurement Specialist to join Aussie Broadband’s growing team. In this newly created position you will shape supplier partnerships, unlock commercial value and drive smarter procurement outcomes across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage strategic relationships with suppliers to maximise value.
• Identify, quantify and realise cost‑saving and commercial improvement opportunities.
• Lead negotiation and contract management activities for telecom‑related spend.
• Analyse spend data, translate insights into actionable procurement strategies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to support business‑led procurement initiatives.
• Deliver operational efficiencies and monitor vendor performance.

Required profile

• Experience in the telecommunications industry or a similarly complex commercial environment.
• Proven background in procurement, commercial management or vendor management.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering cost savings.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Solid negotiation and contract management capability.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret spend data.
