Rostron Carlyle Lawyers, a full-service mid-tier firm with a central CBD location, is looking for a strong and talented lawyer to join its commercial practice. The role suits someone who wants to take the next step in their career within a supportive and discreet team, working closely with Brisbane partners and senior lawyers on clients across a range of industry sectors.

Required profile

• 2-5 years of solid experience in commercial and business transactions across a range of matters.
• Solid understanding and working knowledge of commercial and business transactional dealings.
• Comfortable managing a reasonable and manageable file load with the support of partners and senior lawyers.
• Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with opposing lawyers and clients.
• Commercial approach, sound judgement and commitment to high ethical and professional standards.
• Team player who works independently but collaborates openly.

Required skills

• Drafting and settling legal documents such as letters of structuring advice, commercial agreements and other business agreements.
• Precise and clear writing.
