Commercial & Industrial Team Manager

About the role

Red Energy is seeking a Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Team Manager to lead and develop a specialist team delivering exceptional customer service across its utility portfolio. Reporting to the Manager – Commercial and Industrial Operations, you will drive growth, ensure regulatory compliance and champion operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Guide, coach and develop the C&I team to meet growth targets and uphold high customer service standards.
• Monitor industry changes and translate their impact for customers and the team.
• Facilitate structured communication with internal teams, external providers and key stakeholder organisations to ensure smooth contract management.
• Identify, recommend and implement process improvements that increase operational efficiency and enhance the customer experience.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver initiatives supporting customers’ sustainability goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing teams within the utilities sector, preferably in retail energy with knowledge of its regulatory framework.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities with a customer‑centric mindset.
• Excellent listening, empathy and the ability to influence, inspire and engage others.
