Commercial FP&A Manager

About the role

A fast-growing biotech business in the middle of global expansion is looking for a Commercial FP&A Manager. The role sits inside the commercial engine rather than behind it, working directly with ANZ leadership and sales teams. It owns the full FP&A cycle and uses it to shape how the business grows, prices and invests.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders and the sales team on performance and growth.
• Work closely with sales to understand seasonal cycles and build accurate, practical forecasts.
• Own budgeting, forecasting and monthly performance reporting across ANZ.
• Explain revenue, margin, cost and working capital results in plain commercial terms.
• Build scenario models to support pricing, investment and expansion decisions.
• Build and improve forecasting models and reporting from the ground up, using Xero and Excel.
• Find smarter ways to automate reporting and give leadership better visibility as the business scales.

Required profile

• 5+ years in finance, with strong FP&A experience.
• Hands-on business partnering with sales or commercial teams.
• Experience forecasting in a business with seasonal or cyclical demand (highly regarded).
• Comfortable building things without a big team or established systems, and confident influencing senior leaders.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and strong modelling skills.
• Power BI or similar tools are a plus.
• Experience with Xero or similar cloud accounting platforms.
