Commercial Finance & Marketing Associate Internship

About the role

GSK's Industry Based Learning (IBL) program is a 12-month, full-time internship for students in their penultimate or final year of a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Marketing or a related field, starting in January 2027. The intern works with stakeholders across commercial, finance and other business units, learning from Senior Finance Partners and Commercial Leaders on live projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Senior Finance Partner with the monthly Demand Review Meeting and Monthly Performance Review, and prepare monthly brand P&Ls
• Help compile commentary and analyse sales performance, operating expenses and overall P&L performance
• Work with finance hubs to optimise management reporting and champion finance initiatives that improve processes
• Analyse data to support decision-making and prepare financial information for presentations
• Work with the market access team to reconcile special pricing arrangement claims
• Support the creation of omnichannel marketing materials from ideation to execution
• Work with senior stakeholders on the development of commercial strategy for priority assets

Required profile

• Undergraduate student in Finance, Accounting, Marketing or a related field, available full time from January 2027 to January 2028
• Citizen or permanent resident of Australia, a New Zealand citizen, or able to prove unrestricted full-time working rights for the 12 months
• Effective communicator who builds rapport, adapts to change and identifies areas for improvement
• Team player who collaborates, takes risks, makes agile decisions and speaks up when things are not right
