Commercial Business Partner – 38h/week – Balcatta

About the role

Sodexo is looking for an experienced Commercial Business Partner to join its Perth Support Centre on a permanent, full‑time basis. You will support the Commercial Manager in shaping commercial and financial strategy, ensuring the integrity of site accounts and driving profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse site operational performance to improve profitability and efficiency.
• Assist with annual budget preparation, quarterly forecasts and financial governance across billing, cash, labour, stock and assets.
• Identify and mitigate commercial and financial risks; support debtor management and credit risk.
• Develop pricing, contract variations, business cases and CAPEX submissions for new and existing tenders.
• Act as primary liaison for contract interpretation and manage contract compliance.
• Coach Village Managers and Heads of Department on commercial and financial matters.
• Support month‑end close, reporting and continuous improvement of reporting processes.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Accounting or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of experience in a commercial or finance role.
• CA or CPA qualification is desirable but not mandatory.
• Strong experience in contract negotiation and administration, including Australian Standard contracts.
