Commercial Business Manager, Interiors (Home Office)

About the role

A premium interior solutions manufacturer supplying commercial projects across Australia and New Zealand is recruiting a standalone Commercial Business Manager for Western Australia, working from home in Perth. This is the sole commercial seat in the state, reporting to the National Commercial Sales Manager and collaborating with Strategic Account Managers on national accounts while building its own WA business.

Key responsibilities

• Write specifications with Tier 1 and 2 architects and designers
• Hold specifications through installers, contractors and the value management process until the end user
• Grow existing end-user accounts and find new ones
• Focus on winning the work through specification, covering retail, aged care, social housing, multi-residential, education and healthcare

Required profile

• Specification or commercial sales experience in interior products such as surfaces, acoustics, wallcoverings, ceilings, partitions, joinery or furniture
• Building products sales people who call on architects, designers and end users and want a standalone state remit
• People from estimating, project management or contracting who have sold in the industry and want the commercial role
• Understanding of how an interiors specification is won and held all the way to site
