Commercial Asset Manager

About the role

Elders is looking for a Commercial Asset Manager to join its Hobart team on a permanent, full-time basis. Commercial Asset Managers manage a portfolio of commercial properties on behalf of clients, using their industry experience and ability to build strong client relationships to understand current and future needs. The role is supported by the Elders network in Hobart, across Tasmania and nationally.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of properties professionally
• Provide expert advice to clients and identify opportunities for new and existing clients
• Prepare and manage budgets and report to clients on time
• Carry out regular property inspections to ensure high presentation standards
• Manage capital projects on behalf of the client
• Manage compliance and building regulation requirements, interpret and assist with commercial leases
• Work with the Elders team so clients can explore new opportunities

Required profile

• Previous experience in the property industry (desirable)
• Property Representative Licence, or ability to obtain one soon
• Current driver's licence
• Excellent communication, negotiation and client relationship skills
• Keen eye for detail, customer-focused, and a team player with good time management
• Basic financial and analytical skills
