Collections Specialist - Order to Cash

About the role

ABB is hiring a Collections Specialist for its Order-to-Cash function in Moorebank, reporting to the Cluster Credit Manager. The role manages the end-to-end Order-to-Cash process, partners with customers and internal stakeholders to drive timely collections, resolve disputes and support healthy cash flow.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Order-to-Cash process across a portfolio of accounts
• Drive collections activities and follow up outstanding invoices
• Investigate and resolve disputes, deductions and payment issues
• Negotiate payment arrangements and improve debt recovery outcomes
• Maintain collection worklists and prioritise activities
• Handle customer queries, remittance advice and invoice requests
• Perform account reconciliations and keep records accurate
• Build relationships with internal and external customers and work with stakeholders to optimise cash flow
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, policies and controls

Required profile

• Experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, Collections or an Order-to-Cash environment
• Proven success managing high-volume collections in a corporate setting
• Strong problem-solving, relationship management and communication skills
• Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to manage competing priorities
• Self-motivated team player who can work independently and collaboratively

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• SAP experience highly regarded
• Exposure to CFIN or other modern collections platforms is advantageous
