CNC Stone Machine Technician

About the role

A leading kitchen designer and manufacturer in Campbellfield, Victoria, is hiring an experienced Stone Machine Technician. You will maintain, troubleshoot and service the factory's CNC stone-cutting machinery - bridge saws, waterjets and polishing lines - so a busy production floor runs smoothly. The employer offers sponsorship for candidates in Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Service, maintain and troubleshoot CNC bridge saws, waterjets and polishing equipment
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults
• Plan and carry out preventative maintenance schedules
• Repair machines to minimise production downtime
• Liaise with machine manufacturers and parts suppliers
• Maintain maintenance records and update procedures
• Train operators on basic machine care

Required profile

• Industrial CNC machine technician experience (stone industry preferred)
• Self-motivated ability to work under production pressure

Required skills

• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics
