CNC Machine Tool Service Engineer

About the role

John Hart, one of Australia's largest suppliers of CNC machine tools and robot systems, is looking for a full-time CNC Machine Tool Service Engineer to join its New South Wales team. The work is predominantly in-field service at customers' factories in Newcastle, Sydney and other NSW regional centres, based at the company's head office in Cameron Park. You will provide technical support to customers, including installation, service and repair of CNC machine tools.

Key responsibilities

• Repair, maintenance and servicing of CNC machine tools
• Installation of new CNC machine tools and relocation or reinstallation of existing ones
• Advise and assist fellow team members as required
• Provide customer support in line with company policy and objectives

Required profile

• Over three years of highly relevant employment experience
• Demonstrated experience servicing or repairing CNC machine tools; experience with Mazak is a distinct advantage
• Restricted electrical qualification
• Confident, enjoys working on advanced equipment and open to a challenge

Required skills

• Electrical and electro-mechanical diagnostic knowledge of CNC machine tools, including electronics and PLC
• Product training provided during the first 12 months of induction
