Cloud & Systems Engineer

About the role

Centorrino Technologies is seeking a Cloud & Systems Engineer to join its Managed Services team in Canberra. You will design, deliver and support secure, scalable cloud solutions for enterprise and government clients, working across Microsoft Azure, M365, AVD and hybrid environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage Azure‑based solutions, including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS services.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for Active Directory, Azure AD, Azure Virtual Desktop, Microsoft 365 and Windows Server infrastructure.
• Implement infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform or Bicep to ensure repeatable configurations.
• Monitor, tune and optimise system performance, ensuring availability, resilience and compliance.
• Own incidents from reporting to resolution, communicating status to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams and third‑party vendors to resolve complex escalations.
• Research emerging technologies and recommend service improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Cloud Administrator, Systems Administrator or IT Support Engineer, preferably in a Managed Services or enterprise environment.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure services and hybrid workplace environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Active Directory, Azure AD, Microsoft 365, Azure Virtual Desktop and Exchange.
• Familiarity with infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform or Bicep.
• Eligibility to hold or obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (NV1 required).
