Cloud & Systems Administrator

About the role

Centorrino Technologies is looking for a Cloud & Systems Administrator to join its Managed Services team in Canberra. You will design, deliver and support secure, scalable cloud solutions for enterprise and government clients, working across Microsoft Azure, M365, Azure Virtual Desktop and hybrid environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage Azure‑based infrastructure and related Microsoft services.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for Active Directory, Azure AD, AVD, Microsoft 365, Exchange and Windows Server.
• Implement infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform or Bicep to ensure repeatable configurations.
• Monitor, tune and optimise system performance, maintaining availability, resilience and compliance.
• Own incidents from initial report through resolution, communicating status to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams and third‑party vendors to resolve complex escalations.
• Research emerging technologies and recommend service improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Cloud Administrator, Systems Administrator or IT Support Engineer, preferably in a Managed Services or enterprise setting.
• Strong understanding of Azure IaaS, PaaS and SaaS, and hybrid workplace environments.
• Solid knowledge of Windows Server, virtualization, LAN/WAN networking and enterprise security.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a customer‑first mindset.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks and manage incidents effectively.
