Cloud Azure DevOps Consultant

About the role

Accenture is hiring a Cloud Azure DevOps Consultant in Melbourne. Consultants act as trusted technology advisors who work with technical teams and business users to turn business needs into cloud solutions. They work with the portfolio management team to use cloud developments sustainably, supporting clients on the architecture and implementation of sophisticated cloud-hosted solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support the build and release of DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Craft and implement innovative Azure cloud solutions with Microsoft technologies for clients
• Assist in defining technological standards in Azure environments
• Take part in the full project cycle, from requirement analysis and design to build, testing and operational documentation
• Design, implement and support Azure solutions that meet customers' technical, security and business needs
• Help customers assess the feasibility of moving to Azure and review solutions against their technical, security and business needs

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, MIS, IT or a related field, or 5+ years of IT experience
• Experience interacting with clients from diverse backgrounds and working with teams
• Solid experience presenting complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders, written and spoken
• Solid written and spoken English
• Australian citizenship and NV1 clearance; open to Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Canberra, with interstate travel if needed

Required skills

• CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (Azure DevOps or GitHub)
• Azure Automation, Azure CLI, PowerShell, Terraform and Bicep
• Azure IaaS and PaaS, Azure Monitor / Log Analytics, Azure Site Recovery, Azure Backup, Scale Sets
• Azure networking (Hub-Spoke), ExpressRoute, VPN gateways, NextGen firewalls
• Active Directory, Entra ID, RBAC and MFA; Azure Kubernetes highly desirable
• Preferred: Azure Administrator Associate certification, or Azure Solutions Architect within 1 year of hire
