Clinical Team Leader – Primary Health Care Nurse

About the role

Healthcare Australia is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to take on the Clinical Team Leader position within its Primary Health Services team. This role provides clinical and operational leadership to a multidisciplinary primary health care team, ensuring safe, high‑quality, person‑centred care in a complex environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight, supervise assessments, care planning, referrals and documentation.
• Mentor and develop team members, manage rosters, resources and workflow while maintaining strong clinical governance.
• Lead multidisciplinary collaboration, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement initiatives, maintaining a hands‑on clinical presence as needed.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA Division 1 registration and a relevant postgraduate qualification.
• Minimum five years of clinical nursing experience, with hands‑on experience in an operational healthcare setting.
• Previous clinical leadership or coordination experience and strong knowledge of contemporary primary health care.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
