Clinical Team Leader – Joint Reconstruction

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Clinical Team Leader for Joint Reconstruction in Melbourne. This position combines team leadership, clinical expertise, customer management, and operational coordination to support the Joint Reconstruction Clinical Team in Victoria.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the VIC Joint Reconstruction Clinical team, fostering high performance and collaboration.
• Ensure strong clinical support and case coverage across VIC by optimizing resources and developing talent.
• Maintain advanced clinical expertise in Hip & Knee Reconstruction, including complex revision procedures and VELYS™ robotic technology.
• Partner with surgeons, customers and the Regional Sales Manager to align clinical resources and drive business execution.
• Oversee clinical operations, recruitment and cross‑functional collaboration to enhance education, technology adoption and talent development.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ clinical expertise in Joint Reconstruction, covering primary and revision Hip & Knee procedures.
• Proven ability to provide advanced clinical support for complex orthopaedic cases and drive best‑practice outcomes.
• Strong people leadership experience, including coaching and developing high‑performing clinical teams.
• Excellent customer relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.

Required skills

• Expertise in VELYS™ Robotic‑Assisted Solution.
• Advanced clinical knowledge of Hip & Knee Reconstruction, including complex revision surgeries.
