Clinical Specialist - Trauma & CMF, Melbourne (12-Month Fixed-Term)

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is offering a 12-month fixed-term contract (ending November 2026 to December 2027) for a Clinical Specialist in its Trauma & Craniomaxillofacial (CMF) team in Melbourne. Working alongside Product Specialists, you provide in-theatre clinical support to hospital-based customers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical and in-theatre support, partnering with healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective use of Trauma & CMF products while delivering excellent customer service.
• Build strong relationships with surgeons, nurses and key stakeholders, identify growth opportunities and support the expansion of the Trauma & CMF portfolio in priority accounts.
• Deliver product education and training programs for hospital staff and customers, increasing clinical confidence, product knowledge and adoption of new solutions.
• Work with cross-functional teams to manage inventory, support customer engagement activities and help execute regional business objectives.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in a health-related field (e.g. Nursing, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Science, Chiropractic, Paramedicine).
• Experience providing clinical support in the operating theatre during orthopaedic surgeries is highly regarded.
• Ability to work under pressure in an operating theatre environment, including after-hours and weekend on-call work on a rotating roster.
• Results-driven, autonomous and able to work as part of a team, with good time management.
• Rights to work in Australia, a reliable car and a valid driver's licence.
