Clinical Sales Specialist

About the role

Fresenius Medical Care is looking for a Clinical Sales Specialist in Chermside to promote Fresenius Therapies and its products through sales, training and education of customers, in line with agreed business plans. The role also covers keeping customer accounts running smoothly and resolving issues promptly.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and implement a sales and clinical training strategy per account, working closely with the National Sales Manager across the sales cycle
• Grow the customer base by building relationships with key opinion leaders, influencers and decision makers
• Provide counselling and account information to clinical and technical teams, and track and report competitor activity
• Manage post-purchase activities such as order checks, deliveries and complaints, and deliver clinical support like in-servicing, installations and training
• Support sales administration: contribute to forecasting, help prepare the annual sales budget, set sales objectives and quotas, and prepare customer offers, quotes, tenders and reports
• Use the CRM to track customer information and keep records and reporting up to date
• Keep clinical knowledge current through education, publications and professional networks, and deliver and evaluate approved education programs and in-services
• Perform clinical competency assessments and certifications, and support patients and new customers directly when needed
• Deliver presentations to doctors, nurses and key opinion leaders, organise customer events, and support marketing and supply chain initiatives

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with demonstrated renal (HD) skills, or ICU skills, highly desirable
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience, highly desirable
• Demonstrable track record of success in medical sales
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, set priorities and manage a team culture

Required skills

• Skills across most Windows applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Highly developed interpersonal and influencing skills
• Knowledge of the Fresenius Medical Care portfolio, dialysis therapy, intensive care or renal nursing
