Clinical Rotational Pharmacist (Grade 1/2)

About the role

The Clinical Rotational Pharmacist (Grade 1/2) will work at Concord Repatriation General Hospital, providing high‑quality pharmaceutical services to both inpatients and outpatients. The position rotates between clinical duties and service‑area support, offering a diverse experience in a leading public health organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pharmaceutical care to inpatients and support dispensary and production areas.
• Provide education and medicines information to patients and health‑care professionals.
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary teams and contribute to medication safety.
• Rotate between clinical and service rosters to gain broad pharmacy experience.

Required profile

• Current registration with AHPRA (or eligibility for immediate registration) and ability to practice independently.
• Grade 2 candidates must meet Award criteria and demonstrate competence in at least three of five specified competencies.
• Strong practical therapeutic knowledge applicable in a clinical environment.

Required skills

• Pharmaceutical care provision and medication dispensing.
• Clinical therapeutic knowledge and medicines information delivery.
