Clinical Research Associate – Remote (Australia)

About the role

ICON is seeking a Clinical Research Associate (CRA II / Senior CRA) to work remotely from Australia. The CRA will support the design, monitoring, and analysis of clinical trials, ensuring data quality and patient safety while contributing to the development of new medicines.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site qualification, initiation, monitoring, and close‑out visits for clinical trials.
• Ensure protocol compliance, data integrity, and patient safety throughout the trial lifecycle.
• Collaborate with investigators and site staff to facilitate smooth study conduct.
• Perform data review, resolve queries, and maintain high‑quality clinical data.
• Assist in the preparation and review of study documentation, including protocols and clinical study reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or healthcare‑related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of independent monitoring experience as a CRA within a CRO or pharmaceutical company.
• In‑depth knowledge of clinical trial processes, regulations, and ICH‑GCP guidelines.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel locally and interstate.
