Clinical Pharmacist – Fixed Term & Ongoing, 15% Allowance + $5k Bonus

About the role

The Royal Darwin and Palmerston Hospitals Pharmacy Department is seeking qualified Clinical Pharmacists (Professional 2) for both fixed‑term and ongoing positions. You will join a modern, multidisciplinary team delivering medicines management across two campuses, gaining exposure to complex cases such as chronic kidney disease, tropical diseases, and Aboriginal health.

Key responsibilities

• Provide medicines management services as part of the NT Health Care Team.
• Participate actively in antimicrobial stewardship and infectious disease management programmes.
• Work on weekend and on‑call rosters, with overtime compensation.
• Collaborate with a team of 40 pharmacists, 27 technicians and 3 interns across both hospitals.

Required profile

• Registered pharmacist with previous hospital pharmacy experience.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary environment.
• Willingness to engage in continuous professional development.

• Remuneration package $109,860 – $130,643 per year (base $92,910 – $110,781) plus 15% market allowance and $5,000 retention bonus.
