About the role
Join Fresenius Medical Care as a Clinical Nurse in the Brighton dialysis clinic, delivering life‑sustaining haemodialysis treatments and building trusted relationships with patients and families.
Key responsibilities
- Design, plan, deliver and evaluate patient care within the haemodialysis setting using advanced nephrology nursing skills.
- Coordinate care for a group of dialysis patients, collaborating with nephrologists and allied health professionals to develop individualized care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients, carers, visitors and junior staff, acting as a preceptor and role model.
- Participate in quality improvement, infection control, occupational health and safety initiatives, and clinical research projects.
- Maintain accurate patient records in the Therapy Data Management System (TDMS) and ensure compliance with privacy and safety policies.
Required profile
- Registered general nurse with AHPRA and a current practising certificate.
- Minimum three years of relevant nursing experience, preferably in nephrology.
- Working towards or holding an approved nephrology nursing qualification.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and quality improvement.
