Clinical Nurse – Dialysis

About the role

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking experienced Clinical Nurses to join its dialysis centres across Australia. You will deliver patient‑centred haemodialysis care, support clinic management, and act as a senior team member promoting the clinic’s values and goals.

Key responsibilities

• Utilise advanced nephrology nursing skills to design, plan, deliver and evaluate patient care in a haemodialysis setting.
• Coordinate care for a group of dialysis patients, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualised care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients, carers and clinic visitors, and mentor junior nursing staff.
• Participate in quality improvement, infection control, occupational health and safety, and clinical research projects.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the Therapy Data Management System (TDMS) and ensure privacy compliance.

Required profile

• Registered general nurse with AHPRA and a current practising certificate.
• Minimum three years of relevant nursing experience, preferably in nephrology.
• Hold or be working towards an approved nephrology nursing qualification.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development and quality improvement.
