Clinical Nurse (Data Manager)

About the role

A Clinical Nurse (Data Manager) position is open at Gold Coast Health (GCH), which provides health care to the Gold Coast and northern New South Wales region. The role sits within the intensive care units of the Gold Coast University Hospital and Robina Hospital, which together form an integrated ICU platform.

Key responsibilities

• Identify gaps in data collection, reporting and analysis, and implement strategies to improve data quality, accuracy and completeness
• Coordinate clinical data management activities, including data collection, validation, analysis and reporting
• Meet agreed objectives within set timeframes and deliver high-quality outcomes
• Support a culture of continuous quality improvement

Required profile

• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
• Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
• Evidence of vaccination against measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, pertussis and hepatitis B, or ability to be vaccinated and stay vaccinated
• Tuberculosis screening; declaration of any serious discipline history
• Criminal history screening required for new employees (cost covered by GCH)
