Clinical Coordinator - Wanniassa Dental

About the role

Wanniassa Dental is looking for a motivated and organised Clinical Coordinator to support the smooth running of its clinical operations and help lead its dental team. The role suits a Senior Dental Assistant ready for the next step in their career, working in a busy practice in Wanniassa, ACT.

Key responsibilities

• Provide front desk and reception support, including greeting patients and assisting with bookings, and step in as a Dental Assistant when needed.
• Coordinate daily clinical operations and support the dental team.
• Provide guidance and support to Dental Assistants.
• Ensure clinical rooms are prepared, stocked and maintained to a high standard.
• Oversee infection control, sterilisation and clinical compliance procedures.
• Support clinician schedules and ensure efficient patient flow.
• Assist with the onboarding and training of new team members.
• Maintain high standards of patient care and clinical safety.
• Work closely with the Practice Manager and clinicians to improve practice operations.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant preferred; previous experience in a senior Dental Assistant or Clinical Coordinator role is highly regarded.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A proactive approach and the confidence to support and guide others.
• A genuine passion for patient care and a positive team environment.
