Clinical Care Manager - Aged Care Home

About the role

Randstad is recruiting an experienced, proactive and compassionate Clinical Care Manager to lead the clinical operations of an aged care home in the greater Geelong region. Working full-time, Monday to Friday, the role reports directly to the Facility Manager and takes primary ownership of clinical governance, care planning and clinical team leadership. It suits an accomplished Registered Nurse who champions person-centred care, ensures regulatory compliance and mentors nursing and care staff.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical operations so that high-quality, dignified care is delivered.
• Lead, mentor and support Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Care Assistants.
• Manage complex clinical cases, palliative pathways, wound care and medication governance.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and take part in accreditation processes.
• Carry out clinical assessments, care planning reviews and AN-ACC clinical documentation.
• Act as a senior point of contact for residents, families, GPs and allied health professionals.
• Monitor clinical indicators such as falls, skin integrity, infection control and psychotropic medication use, and drive continuous quality improvement.

Required profile

• Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical leadership or management experience (e.g. Clinical Care Manager, Care Manager, Clinical Nurse Consultant or Senior Clinical Care Coordinator).
• Substantial hands-on experience in Australian residential aged care, including knowledge of aged care legislation, AN-ACC funding, SIRS reporting and the Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Currently residing in Australia with full, unrestricted working rights; overseas applicants and visa sponsorship requests are not considered.
• Full-time availability, Monday to Friday.
• A current NDIS worker screening check or national police check (aged care clearance), or willingness to obtain one before starting.
