Client Services Officer

About the role

Marsh is seeking a Client Services Officer for its Client Service team within the People and Investments business, based in the Melbourne office. The role acts as a key link between clients, financial advisors and support staff, handling a variety of client service tasks while maintaining compliance standards. It is a hybrid position with at least three days per week in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a primary contact for client inquiries and service needs, responding promptly and accurately.
• Prepare and process financial planning documents, applications and client reviews.
• Support advisors by managing client schedules, preparing meetings and following up on actions.
• Handle compliance requirements, including keeping accurate records and documentation.
• Proactively identify ways to improve client satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong interest in financial planning, wealth management or client service.
• Good understanding of financial products, services and industry regulations.
• RG146 compliant.
• Experience preferred but not essential; the employer looks for someone passionate about financial planning and wanting to grow a career in it.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage several priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Xplan, Salesforce and the MS Office suite is preferred but not essential.
