Client Services Manager – Team Lead (Financial Planning)

About the role

The client is a growing financial planning business seeking a Client Services Manager to lead a team of Client Service Officers, support advisers and drive operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of Client Service Officers, providing operational oversight.
• Coordinate workflow, manage priorities and ensure service standards are met.
• Support advisers and paraplanners with advice preparation, implementation and client service activities.
• Manage client administration, applications, correspondence, reviews and service requests.
• Maintain accurate client records and workflow in Xplan and related systems.
• Assist with operational reporting, projects and process improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Senior Client Service Officer, Team Leader, Client Services Manager or similar in financial planning or wealth management.
• Strong understanding of the end‑to‑end financial advice process and Xplan workflows.
• Demonstrated experience mentoring, coaching or coordinating team members.
• Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
