Client Partner

About the role

Sonata Software is looking for a high‑performing Client Partner to drive strategic growth across the Australian market. This hunting‑focused position will acquire new customers, build executive relationships and lead digital transformation engagements in key sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, engage and convert target accounts into long‑term clients across Australia.
• Develop and execute account penetration and territory growth strategies.
• Build trusted relationships with C‑level executives and senior business stakeholders.
• Position Sonata’s capabilities in Digital Transformation, Cloud, Data, AI, Application Modernization and Managed Services.
• Collaborate with delivery, pre‑sales, alliances and industry teams to create compelling proposals and win pursuits.
• Drive pipeline creation, opportunity progression, forecasting and revenue achievement.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of experience in IT services sales, business development or client acquisition.
• Proven track record of winning new logos and growing strategic accounts.
• Experience selling consulting, digital transformation, cloud, data, application services or managed services.
• Background in selling to Retail, Manufacturing & Distribution, Healthcare or Financial Services sectors.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, especially Dynamics 365.
• Familiarity with Azure, Data & AI, Modern Workplace or ERP/CRM transformation programs.
• Existing relationships within the Australian Microsoft ecosystem are a plus.
