Client Liaison Team Coordinator

About the role

Forensic Science Queensland (FSQ) is recruiting a Client Liaison Team Coordinator to lead a team responsible for managing client interactions, coordinating information requests and keeping forensic laboratories in touch with key stakeholders. It is a team leader role combining people management, stakeholder engagement and operational coordination in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and support a team of Client Liaison Officers and administrative staff.
• Coordinate client enquiries and information requests from internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage and prioritise case-related requests to support forensic service delivery and court timeframes.
• Oversee subpoena and information request processes so deadlines are met.
• Build strong working relationships with Queensland Police, the Department of Justice and other partners.
• Promote high-quality client service and continuous improvement across team processes.
• Support staff development through training, onboarding and mentoring.
• Review and maintain operational procedures to meet legislative, quality and accreditation requirements.
