Client Care Coordinator - Veterinary Receptionist

About the role

Riverbank Animal Hospital, a growing veterinary practice in Grafton, NSW, is looking for a Client Care Coordinator to act as its welcoming face. The role works closely with another Client Care Coordinator, Veterinary Nurses and Veterinarians so that every client feels supported from the moment they contact the hospital. It reports to the Practice Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate animal medical cases and priorities with the veterinary team
• Manage appointment books and scheduling software
• Educate clients on the hospital's services and wellness programs
• Manage accounts, including estimates, invoicing and payment options
• Maintain records, reminders and recalls to uphold standards of care
• Keep information and records in line with privacy standards
• Coordinate social media, campaigns and Google requirements
• Maintain work health and safety compliance with visitors, suppliers and trades
• Keep the reception and waiting area clean and well presented

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in a direct client-facing position in a veterinary or medical environment
• Front-of-house and customer service skills, with a friendly, positive attitude
• Natural love of animals and a desire for a stress-free environment
• Ability to stay calm and organised in a fast-paced setting
