About the role
The Clerical Officer provides essential administrative, reception and clerical support to the Kimberley Community Alcohol and Drug Service (KCADS) within WA Country Health Service. This fixed‑term position ensures smooth day‑to‑day operations, handling front‑desk duties and coordinating internal processes.
Key responsibilities
- Manage front‑desk reception, greet visitors and handle phone enquiries.
- Perform clinical administration tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records and processing documentation.
- Coordinate internal communications and support the KCADS team with day‑to‑day operational needs.
- Maintain filing systems, handle correspondence and ensure confidentiality of health information.
- Assist with reporting, data entry and other administrative duties as required.
Required profile
- Relevant clerical or administrative experience, preferably in a health or community services setting.
- Ability to work accurately with confidential information and follow health‑service procedures.
- Eligibility to work in Australia (Australian citizen, permanent resident or valid visa).
- Strong organisational skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
