Classroom Teachers – Relocate to the Northern Territory

About the role
Join the Northern Territory Department of Education and Training as a secondary school teacher and make a meaningful impact in both urban and remote public schools. You will deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons while experiencing the unique culture and landscape of the NT.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
- Create inclusive classrooms that support student wellbeing and learning.
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies and build positive relationships.
- Assess, track and report on student progress.
- Engage with families and local communities as part of your teaching practice.
Required profile
- Registered or eligible for registration with the Teacher Registration Board NT.
- Ability to obtain a Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card).
- If teacher education was completed after July 2016, provide proof of LANTITE test completion.
