Claims System Specialist

About the role

This position offers an entry‑level opportunity to work at the intersection of claims and technology within an international insurer. You will help optimise QBE's claims platforms, support users across the business and collaborate closely with both business and technology teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support users of claims systems and related platforms, handling enquiries and incidents.
• Investigate, diagnose and resolve system issues, managing requests through the Enquiry Inbox.
• Create and execute testing cycles, including UAT, PVT and regression testing.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, improve processes and assist with system enhancements, releases and projects.
• Identify opportunities to simplify workflows and improve overall system performance.

Required profile

• Experience in CTP or Workers’ Compensation claims (or a similar line of business).
• Curiosity about how systems operate behind the scenes.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
