Civil Site Engineer – Bruce Highway (Central Coast)

About the role

We are seeking experienced Civil Site Engineers to join our team on the Bruce Highway Targeted Safety Program in the Central Coast region of Queensland. The role involves managing site construction works and delivering professional services to support major infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the effective management of infrastructure projects, ensuring time, cost and quality objectives are met.
• Monitor and report progress, anticipate issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain project quality standards in consultation with clients and monitor the quality of inputs.
• Assist with project budgets, cash flows, funding arrangements and resource scheduling.
• Promote a safe, healthy, and discrimination‑free work environment in line with legislative and WHS requirements.
• Act as the Administrator’s representative when required.

Required profile

• Proven experience on civil road infrastructure construction projects for the Queensland Department of Transport & Main Roads.
• Knowledge of AS2124 General Conditions of Contract and Transport and Main Roads policies, standards and specifications.
• Experience delivering civil engineering projects, including roads and bridges.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts.
• Commitment to ethical conduct, equity, diversity and workplace health & safety.
