Civil Operator - 2&2 FIFO from Perth

About the role

Karlayura Personnel is recruiting experienced Civil Allrounder Operators for a FIFO opportunity at an iron ore mine in the Pilbara, Western Australia. The position suits skilled operators who want a balanced 2:2 roster, competitive hourly pay and about 6 months of ongoing work, with the possibility of extension.

Key responsibilities

• Construction and maintenance of access tracks and bore pads
• Civil earthworks, excavation and site preparation
• Ground levelling, grading and compaction
• Safe operation of civil and mobile plant equipment
• Compliance with site safety procedures and operational standards

Required profile

• Demonstrated civil operating experience in mining or construction environments
• Experience in access track and bore pad construction and maintenance
• Competency operating multiple types of civil machinery
• Current WA C Class manual driver's licence
• White Card (mandatory)
• National police clearance (6 months)
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety

Required skills

• Loaders, skid steers, excavators, 15-tonne vibrating rollers and Franna cranes (High Risk Work Licence required)
• Machinery tickets and High Risk Work Licences

What we offer

• Pay rate of $65-$70 per hour depending on experience
• 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off roster (14:14) with 12-hour shifts
• Approximately 6 months of work, with possible extension
