Civil Leading Hand – Construction

About the role

ACCIONA, in partnership with COBRA and Endeavour Energy, is delivering the Central‑West Orana Renewable Energy Zone transmission network. We are seeking an experienced Civil Leading Hand to supervise and coordinate field crews on access tracks and bulk earthworks for this high‑impact project.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate civil construction crews on‑site.
• Supervise bulk earthworks, trenching and drainage activities.
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to specification.
• Support excavator and plant operators with daily tasks.
• Manage daily planning, pre‑start meetings and on‑site communication.
• Monitor compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Assist with hands‑on civil works as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years civil construction experience, including supervisory or leading‑hand roles.
• Strong background in bulk earthworks, civil infrastructure and/or renewable‑energy projects.
• Proven ability to lead crews and coordinate daily site activities.
• Excavator or plant operation experience is highly desirable.
