Civil Labourer / Operator

About the role

CV Infrastructure Services, part of the CV Group, is hiring Civil Labourers in Brisbane to support experienced crews delivering civil and electrical infrastructure works on major road, rail, commercial and urban development projects across Southeast Queensland. The work involves general civil labouring duties and assisting operators and tradespeople.

Key responsibilities

• General civil labouring duties
• Pit and conduit installation
• Trenching, digging and backfilling
• Pipe laying and civil construction works
• Concreting and site preparation
• Assisting operators and tradespeople on site
• Working safely around underground and live services
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised worksite
• Following all safety, environmental and quality requirements

Required profile

• Reliable, safety-focused person who enjoys working in a hardworking team
• Construction White Card (essential)
• Previous civil construction or labouring experience
• Current driver's licence and reliable transport
• Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
• Willingness to work day and night shifts when required
• Commitment to high safety standards
